  • A UV varnish top layer ensures the colour stays vibrant for years to come.

  • Professional-grade, archival substrate and media.

  • Would look fabulous in a natural wood floater frame.

This work is multi-faceted as it evolved alongside it’s partner pieces, as part of a transitional phase that centred around homecoming and my ongoing travels to and from ‘home’. At Dublin International Airport , one specific corridor linking Terminal 1 & 2 is bathed in light as part of an art installation which combines poetry, colour and light immersing passengers as they pass through. For me it has become a sacred place of transition connecting the places I call home, connecting and holding my longing and driving how I live and create around me.

Swanlight is a poem by the late John O’Donohue. Ireland is always associated with the colour green, through our landscape, our climate and our environment. However, dawn, sunset, changing weather and different seasons bring a wide variety of golds and pinks, oranges and purples to the Irish landscape. This vibrancy has provided the inspiration for words and music, myths and legends, stories and poetry and songs and lyrics.
