  • Are your paintings ready to hang?

All my gallery wrapped canvas paintings come ready to hang, otherwise if they are on paper or flat canvas sheets they are sold with a mount (no frame)

    Are your paintings framed?

Only if specifically listed as FRAMED. Usually most are sold without a frame, however I can help you with choosing a floating frame for Gallery Wrapped Canvas, or a custom frame for prints

Do you sell giclee or professionally printed editions?

I can custom giclee and professional print sizes on request, please email contactrwilliamsart@gmail.com to talk through your requirements in more detail. This is an on demand service using a local third party professional art printing business

    What medium are your paintings?

I use acrylic paints, with all works finished with a UV protective archival quality varnish.

Can I try before I buy?

I am happy to accommodate this whenever possible - I understand that making a decision to invest in original art is a big one - and I want you to be 100% happy. If feasible, we can arrange a private viewing to accommodate your schedule and preferences, or by arrangement you may try at home.

How do I look after my painting?

Use a dry lint free cloth or duster to regularly brush over the surface of the painting to keep it clean. If you do happen to get any wet liquids on the surface of the painting, the varnish means you should be able to clean it with a clean slightly damp cloth and let it dry naturally.

  • Do you work with interior designers?

Yes, I have partnered with interior designers and art consultants on all sorts of interesting projects. If you’d like to talk with me about your project please email me at contactrwilliamsart@gmail.com

    Do you take on commissions?

Yea - any commissioned paintings usually take 6-8 weeks for completion after the deposit has been paid. Send me an email contactrwilliamsart@gmail.com

  • When will my artwork be shipped?

All my original artworks are shipped by an insured courier, FedEx or UPS within 10 working days of purchase, and prints via Canada Post, FedEx or UPS tracked services within 2-3 weeks (these are ordered on demand from a third-party supplier). Once your order is on its way to you will receive an email to say your order has been fulfilled with a tracking number.

    Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship artwork all over the world, although international deliveries can take longer to arrive depending on where you are. You, the buyer, are responsible for paying any import duties, customs charges or taxes which are applied by the destination country. These types of charges are completely out of my control and I can accept no responsibility for them.

Please get in touch by emailing contactrwilliamsart@gmail.com if you would like a quote for shipping to your country prior to purchase (although I cannot tell you how much any customs costs might be I’m afraid).

How will my painting be protected whilst its being shipped?

All original paintings are carefully wrapped - protective corners, protective paper, then layers of bubble wrap, cardboard, more bubble wrap, and then more cardboard! Prints are posted flat or rolled in a sturdy postal tube. However, if you do receive your artwork and it is damaged, you need to email me within 7 days of delivery (preferably with photos of the package and the damage) so I can make a claim with the courier and discuss with you either a refund or repair.

Can I collect my artwork in person?

Of course, just select ‘Local Collection’ when checking out and I’ll be in touch by email for you to collect your painting.

  • My painting arrived and isn’t what I expected, can I return it?

Please take some time before you purchase to carefully read the listing description, check colours on different screens if you are worried about colour variations (as colours may vary slightly in person), check sizes, framing, lead times for delivery etc. I use a professional photographer to capture my original artworks as accurately and true-to life as possible, all in the hope that you what arrives in the post is exactly what you hoped it would be.

However, I want you to be totally happy with your purchase, and if that is not the case you have 14 days from delivery to contact me by email and request a return. Once we have agreed a return, you are responsible for packaging and shipping the painting back to me in the same condition it was sent. Once I’ve safely received the painting I will refund your payment within 14 days. This does not include shipping costs, which are non-refundable

I saw a painting I loved but had already sold, can you recreate it for me?

While I do take on some commissions, I’m afraid I cannot guarantee to recreate a previously sold work for you. Inevitably the second artwork will vary from the first, it’s the nature of painting, leaving the collector potentially disappointed. I can however use your preferred artworks and colour palettes as a starting point to create a completely new and bespoke piece of art for you which hopefully you will love even more
